About Me

Background

   I was born in 1985 in Bryan, Texas and have been moving around ever since. I have lived in Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, and even spent a year living in Costa Rica. I have always been heavily into graphics such as movie graphics and video game graphics and I have always been very interested in computers.

Education

   I started to go to Arizona State University in 2003 on a full Provost scholarship. I was originally in the Computer Science Engineering program because I wanted to learn how to create video games. After about a year in that program I decided to transfer to the ASU Polytechnic campus to get into the Graphic Information Technology program because I was more interested in the graphical part of video games than the coding. I graduated in 2007 with a bachelors of science degree in Graphic Information Technology. I was on the Deans list 6 of the 8 semesters I attended ASU.

Experience

   I did a little bit of freelance graphic design all throughout my education at ASU. During my senior year I started working as a graphic designer for a local web design firm called SEO Compatible Design. It was here that I started learning about web design and soon after started designing full websites on my own. I still work for SEOCD as well as do freelance graphic and web design.

Hobbies

   I really enjoy spending time on the computer and designing graphics and web pages. I also am really into snowboarding; it is probably my absolute favorite thing to do. I have also been playing guitar for about 6 years however I have not had much time lately to play. I am also very interested in photography, golf, playing video games, watching movies and working on cars.
